Chadzilla joined the mighty Slim Cessna’s Auto Club in 2009. The new Auto Club album featuring Chadzilla on drums and vocals will be out in early 2010, adding to the five albums currently distributed by Alternative Tentacles Records. They have toured the United States from coast to coast, Canada and Europe. He is also a member of Munly and the Lupercalians, a new band fronted by one of the premier songwriters promoting the “Denver Sound”. Munly has five solo albums and the new Lupercalians album will be out in late 2009. He also leads Chadzilla and the Asteroids, Denver’s hottest 80’s band featuring some of the best musicians in the area. Chadzilla is also a member of the Denver based funk rock band Double Parked. Chadzilla previously performed, recorded and toured nationally with many bands including Polytoxic, Little Hercules and Alternative Tentacles recording artist Tarantella. He has shared the stage with Joe Walsh, Jello Biafra, Devotchka, Calexico, Cowboy Mouth, Daniel Ash, The Samples, Umphrey’s McGee, the Average White Band, Dr. Hook, The Village People, Maceo Parker, Big Head Todd and the Monsters and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. He recently backed up Grammy award winner Leo Nocentelli of the Meters, southern rock band Bloodkin and Joe Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult. Chadzilla has thumped Red Rocks Amphitheater, the Coors Amphitheater, the Paramount Theater, the Boulder Theater, the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver and the American Music Hall in San Francisco. He has also rocked many area festivals including the Wakarusa Music Festival, the LoDo Music Festival, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, the Taste of Colorado, the Texas Jazz Festival, the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival and Denvers’ Westword Music Awards Showcase. |
